Engine: 5.0 Liter fuel injected stock Ford with Billet Specialties TruTrac Serpentine System.

 

Transmission: Ford AOD.

 

Paint: PPG Midnight Emerald Green.

 

Wood: Hand picked Maple and Mahogany. Wood fitted and finished/installed by Rick Mack.

 

Additional info: Frame off construction. Fatman Mustang II front clip with rack and pinion power steering. Coil-over shocks in front with Carrera shocks in rear with Posies Super Slide leaf springs. Baer power disc brakes on all four corners. New custom full metal skin on lower tailgate. Custom installed '51 Ford Sedan rear bumper. LED tail lights and third brake light. Vintage Air A/C. One piece rear, side, and door glass with V-Butted windshield. Smoothed dash and custom center console that holds power window controls and AM-FM-IPOD connection. Custom leather interior by Sid Chavers using '93 Chrysler LeBaron modified front power seats and custom built rear seat.             1957 Ford Del Rio Ranch Wagon
Body: Third owner of a 78,000 original mile survivor. Garaged most of it's life. Small rust patch in lower tail gate and front fenders. Re-painted below side body trim with original paint above side trim.
Engine: The car was purchased without the 'drag race' engine and transmissions. A new 302 Ford long block was just installed with after market Mass Flo fuel injection system. Engine looks very similar to a 1957 Ford 292/312 Thunderbird Special with appropriate block red paint, 312 silver air cleaner, and decals on black valve covers.
Transmission: Ford AOD.
Paint: PPG Black and original Ford factory Black. 
Additional info: The car will remain 'fairly stock' in appearance. In addition to the engine and transmission changes listed above, the car also has or will have the following: Vintage Air Under Dash A/C, Power Steering using Gearheads modified steering sector/drag linc system, Restored/Updated Ford Town and Country Radio (AM-FM-IPOD), modified front springs and Posies Super Slide rear leaf springs for the correct stance, new 17" wheels with new tires, and a new 'stock appearing' interior.
